You know, those early birthdays are going to fly by. Before you know it, those kids of yours are going to be driving around (hopefully in the flying cars I feel I was promised by movies). So why not make these birthdays colorful and super fun (and well documented by your favorite photographer, of course).

I've been shooting some kids birthday parties at a local LA venue called The Coop. Lemme tell you, they make things colorful, and high energy.

I think you'll be able to tell that the kids love it. But I can tell you this, the adults actually do too. At each of the parties I've photographed at The Coop, the adults looked like they had just as good a time socializing as the kids did running around.

And just in case you're wondering, I'm not paid by The Coop to say all this. I just think each time I've gone, it's looked super fun.

And, of course, as always, I love capturing all the smiles.
