Yesterday, I shot Mark O'Brien, who is currently playing Tom Rendon on AMC's Halt and Catch Fire.
Mark and I have been wanting to shoot together for a few months now and very shortly, Mark will begin shooting the film Story of Your Life, with Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner, and Forest Whitaker. With his work on Halt and Catch Fire, as well as his upcoming shooting schedule, Mark has had a very busy schedule. With all this, it's a minor miracle that we were able to get together.
Before he arrived, Mark and I had worked out what mood we wanted to convey with his shots, and he arrived completely prepared to shoot. We did several shots of each look and then reviewed what we had shot to make sure that we had what we wanted. This actually freed us up to use our time to refine the looks and make minor corrections, and provided the opportunity to get in to the play of the shoot and explore other looks and changes that we saw while shooting.
Mark played a scary person a little while back on NBC's Hannibal. He is, however, an actor, and it's possible he doesn't have an actual scary bone in his body. He is a very nice person and was an absolute pleasure to shoot.
Scroll down to like, comment and share, and please do take some time to look at my other portraiture. And, of course, don't be a stranger! I would love to hear from anyone through the social media below or by sending me a message through my booking page.
Until next time,
Jamie
